The Life of an Egg

"In every child who is born, under no matter what circumstances, and of no matter what parents, the potentiality of the human race is born again." -J.Agee

Location: Los Angeles, California

I am addicted to Flamin Hot Cheetos, goat cheese, rainbow sherbet, and hummus. I want to meet Paul Farmer. I can't touch library books because they smell. I have a tattoo of the tree of life on my back. I have a problem with picking at my nails when I'm nervous, stressed out, or bored. I am irrationally proud of being from California. One of my main goals in life is to be a good person. And finally, please don't ask for medical advice, especially if it involves any sort of discharge.

burnt out

I'm 1.5 months away from being DONE with my intern year and I can't fucking wait. I feel I've had a great year... I've learned a lot. and even though I don't feel ready to be a senior with more responsibility, I'm really excited to not be an intern anymore. I'm sick of all the bullshit that we have to deal with, all the paperwork, all the menial tasks that really aren't part of my job description in terms of patient care but somehow, I'm expected to suck it up and pretend like it's great to be a slave.

My mom is coming to town this weekend. We have tickets to see The Color Purple and we have reservations for afternoon tea at the Peninsula. Very excited!! I hope the weather behaves!
