dilemma

what is more important?
the perfect place for a wedding or a perfect date?

my parents are coming to town this weekend and staying a WEEK, on their way to Canada for a friend's daughter's wedding. i'm excited but also stressed out. i'm studying for Step 3 (the last step of the licensing series), but also want to spend time with them. not to mention, i still have clinical responsibilities... albeit less than usual, because i'm on my development/behavioral pediatrics rotation.

5-week months

This has been a long month... I can't wait for it to be over. I don't like working at this other "Hospital" that is like a fake hospital. Every time a patient gets remotely sick, everyone FREAKS out. Hello? We're real doctors. We can take care of sick patients... Not to mention, the amount of paperwork at this place is even more ridiculous than our home hospital. And I never thought that was possible.

I did have a chance to try Scoozi! and enjoy their $5 wine glasses on Mondays!
This Friday is my birthday. I don't remember what age I'm turning but we're celebrating at Between Boutique Cafe and Lounge. I've read mostly good reviews of this new place but there was one person warning us that it was empty on a Friday night...? I hope everyone comes to drink with me. :) Unfortunately, I'm on call this Saturday. Not that that's ever stopped me from enjoying a party...
